Supporting Your Children and Their School

Who are we?

Parents and carers of students at The Priory School are automatically members of The Priory School Association, known as the PSA. The PSA does the same job as a PTA or ‘Friends’ group. There are many ways in which you can support the PSA.

What do we do?

The PSA aims to provide both social and fundraising support to the school. We organise several family events throughout the year which bring students, teachers, parents and carers together. The events are often open to the wider community also.

What events do the PSA run?

We currently run three main fundraising events, one a term:

  • Craft Fair
  • Barn Dance
  • Quiz Night

We also arrange the Year 7 Welcome disco, and the 100 Club.

100 Club

How would you like to have the chance to win a cash prize each month, whilst raising money for The Priory School.

The PSA raises money for the desirable extras that help your child’s education by running the 100 Club as a monthly prize draw.

For just £24 per year, and the chance of winning up to £50 a month, parents and carers can join the 100 Club! Please complete the form below and return to PSA via the school office.

What are we raising money for?

In the past couple of years, the PSA have been able to make substantial contributions to various school departments, as well as providing regular subsidies for such events as the Years 11 and 13 proms and the Young Enterprise Initiative. Recent contributions to the school have funded the following:

  • Audio Mixing Desk
  • Van De Graaf Generator
  • Minibus
  • State of the art climbing wall
  • Outside table tennis and football tables

How can I get involved?

There are several ways you can become involved in supporting your child’s school through the PSA:

  • Join the PSA committee
  • Sign up as a helper at PSA events
  • Offer any relevant skills
  • Join the 100 Club draw
