A-Level & BTEC Results 2017

The Priory School celebrated another excellent year of success for its A-Level and BTEC students.

Emotions were running high as students celebrated with friends, family and teachers.  Students who performed exceptionally well include; Alex Goose  A*AAB, Ben Green A*A*A , Naomi Johnson  AAAB, Will Lenton A*AA, Hector Macinnes  AAA, Sonica Minhas  AAA and Valerio Ruzza AAA.

This year has seen a significant increase in the number of students gaining places at their first choice university. A significant number of  students have enrolled at Russel group universities to study STEM and Medical courses. For the second year, we have a student who has been successfully accepted at a university abroad; University of Grenada.

The Priory School has an ever increasing reputation for promoting high level apprenticeships through our excellent links with major employers in the area. Once again our students have been able to secure these highly sought after placements.

Geraint Edwards, Headteacher said:

‘This cohort of students have been the first to go through the A level reforms instigated by Michael Gove. It is a testament to the students’ hard work, excellent teaching and support from their families that they have achieved so well.   We want to congratulate all of them on their individual successes. These young adults are without question excellent role models and the school and the wider community have a lot to be proud of.”
