The Priory School A-Level Results 2019

The increased academic rigour of the new generation of A-levels has raised the bar for all schools. With excellent support from our parent body, and the professionalism and dedication of our staff, students have once again excelled in their A-level exams.

Our Year 13 students achieved a wonderful set of results with some notable successes:

Jacques Du Toit: A* A* A*
Sian Lawrence: A*A* A Distinction
Alyssa Yap-Young: A* A A
Emily Nellis: A A A

The vast majority of our students heading off to university secured their first choice place. Sian Lawrence will be reading English and French at Oxford University, which continues our trend of securing Oxbridge places for our students.

The Priory School promotes the importance of high level apprenticeships and we have seen an increase in the number of students securing apprenticeships with leading employers.

Headteacher Geraint Edwards said:

“I am extremely proud of the achievements of these young people who are a true credit to the community in which they live.”
