Consortium Procedures

Heads of Sixth of the Consortium schools meet at least twice per half term to discuss consortium arrangements.

Head and Heads of Sixth meet once every half term to discuss consortium management.

Both groups are responsible for achieving the following:

  • A consortium booklet, which is published each November and is available to all Year 11 students, containing information about the different courses and arrangements in the Sixth Form.
  • A timetable, which is completed in blocks and is common to all the schools, which will enable you to follow different courses and different schools.
  • A common set of dates for a wide variety of different events including:
    • Parents evenings for Years 12 and 13
    • Options evening for Year 11
    • INSET days
    • Occasional days
    • Progress Checks
  • Achieving a common policy on the following:
    • Entry to the Sixth Form
    • Absence policy
    • Subject exclusion policy
  • Exchanging important data on the following:
    • Progress Checks, Subjects followed and block
    • Predicted results
    • Actual results
    • Points scores
    • Destinations
