School isn’t just about hard work. It is about meeting new people, making friends and taking part in the activities that you enjoy the most and trying some new things too.
You will find that there are lots of lunchtime or after-school activities and clubs that you can join, we call it OSHO or Out of School Hours Opportunities and you will find a big poster in your form room to advertise all the clubs and tell you when and where they are held.
Depending on the time of year we have lots of sporting teams and clubs include: football, rugby, basketball, hockey, trampolining, netball, running club, athletics, cricket, rounders and tennis.
If you are musical, you can be part of the school orchestra. You can also join in with the Junior choir.
If you enjoy acting you can join in with Drama club and also audition for our legendary productions which in recent years have included Sister Act and Jesus Christ Superstar.
The Science department has clubs in gardening and robotics and our Technology department host tech club too.
You could also join the debating society, festivals group, board games club, IT clubs, video game design club, War Hammer, Dungeons and Dragon and so many more, there really is something for everyone but if there is nothing here that excites you then you might be able to start your own club!
