I have been a teacher and former head of department for over 12 years, I relocated to Hertfordshire from the North East in 2022 and have been enjoying exploring the county and my new post as Post 16 vocational and Alternative provision lead and teacher of Social Sciences at The Priory School.
As part of my professional development I recently completed a MA in Education leadership and Management as well as my National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership. I applied to be the staff Governor here at TPS as I wanted to be part of the strategic leadership and management of the school. I thoroughly enjoy being a member of the teaching staff at TPS and as a Governor I look forward to bringing a staff viewpoint and perspective to discussion and debate.
Outside of school I enjoy exploring the area with my two dogs and seeing the world.
