Fashion Show

The Priory School Hitchin hosted their 6th remarkable fashion on March 24th with support from retailors M&Co, Jules, Rubarb, Elite Sports, Rosita Lollipop and Cancer Research. All retailors housed in the heart of Hitchin town. The Priory School’s Sixth Form BTEC Business students made the fashion show a running success. The Business students recruited models from enthusiastic year 7’s all the way to keen Sixth Formers. Girls rocked leather jackets all the way to chic 1950’s dresses. The fellas styled out in dashing shirts from Rubarb and M&Co owning the catwalk. The turnout was remarkable and so was the money raised for cancer research UK. The Fashion show alone rose over £200 in just one night! This was the business students FIRST time in organising a fashion show, through the little experience they had working with fashion, they managed to pull it out of the hat and run a successful fashion show. The Business students used their own initiative and business skills that they had learnt in order to pick out the most appealing clothing and market the show. If it wasn’t for the skill and business related experience, the fashion show would not have been an astonishing success. The hosts of the fashion show Ryan-James Papworth and Ben Ruffle managed to make the fashion show have a touch of wit with their whimsical commentary. The 2015 Priory School Fashion Show had been the most flamboyant and productive show that they have ever hosted.
