My specialism is human resource management where I progressed across a variety of companies and sectors. For the past 15 years I have run my own international HR consultancy specialising in change management. I have been a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
Throughout my career I have been executive and non-executive director of UK and international companies, in addition to being a trustee of various charities. Education, training and development across the range of abilities is a passion on mine and I believe that every child has the right and capability to progress and succeed. Over the past few years I have coordinated business mentoring for about 100 school students in Hitchin.
All three of my children attended schools in Hitchin, and my wife and I have only respect for what their primary and secondary schools were able to provide to help them to progress in their chosen careers. I am a trustee of Hitchin Youth Trust and an active member of the Rotary Club of Hitchin Tilehouse. Downtime is with family and our two dalmatians, two cats and six chickens.
