The examination results day is a rite of passage that we have been through. Many of us can remember the sleepless night beforehand, waking up at an unearthly hour in the morning and then the journey to school.
For the first time in two years, students were able to pick up their results. There was a definite nervous tension in the air as the students entered the school hall, quickly followed by tears of joy, teenagers hugging, and proud parents and staff.
There have been some notable successes, with the following students achieving outstanding grades:
Alice Rowlands, Mathew Reed, Rebecca Davies, George Cook, Esme Anderson-Parrott, Lauren Anderson-Parrott and Felicia Austin
Quote from the Headteacher:
“We must not forget that these GCSE and vocational exams have been sat against a background of unprecedented disruption to learning. The success achieved by these young people is a testament to their hard work, the support of their families and the dedication of their teachers. They have a lot to be proud of.”
